Fire Safety Officer Course Set
Nationally recognised six-unit training covering how to identify and prevent fire risks, respond to facility emergencies, operate within and lead an Emergency Control Organisation, and confine small incidents. Prepares participants to act as a Fire Warden or Chief Warden.
Fire Safety Advisor Course Set
Nationally recognised training for those appointed to manage workplace fire safety as a Fire Safety Advisor (FSA). Develops the knowledge and skills to advise on building fire safety, emergency planning and emergency response across any facility or workplace.
Emergency Planning Committee (EPC) Training
Prepares Emergency Planning Committee members to develop, maintain and review the workplace emergency plan. Covers committee responsibilities, risk identification, emergency arrangements, training oversight and continuous improvement. Site-focused and practical.
Building Occupant General Staff Training
Familiarises building occupants and general staff with your site's emergency procedures, evacuation routes, assembly areas and their responsibilities during an incident. Brief and accessible — designed for whole-of-workforce delivery.
Building Evacuation Trial
A facilitated, staged building evacuation exercise (Stage 1, 2 or 3) coordinated with your Emergency Control Organisation and occupants. FERST plans, observes and debriefs the trial — testing procedures, communications, assembly arrangements and timing. Required annually and key to verifying readiness.
Fire Awareness & Extinguisher Training
Equips your team to recognise fire risks, raise the alarm correctly, and safely use portable fire extinguishers on small contained fires. Includes hands-on practical extinguisher use. Site-focused and practical.
Warden (ECO) Training
Prepares emergency wardens and ECO members to carry out their duties during an evacuation — responding to alarms, clearing their area, directing occupants to safety, and reporting to the Chief Warden. Site-focused and practical.
Chief Warden Training
Prepares nominated Chief Wardens, Deputy Chief Wardens and Communications Officers to lead the Emergency Control Organisation during an incident — making decisions, coordinating communications, managing evacuations, and supporting emergency services. Site-focused and practical.
Demonstrate First Attack Firefighting Equipment
The course applies to individuals who may be required to have first attack firefighting skills in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. It includes preparing for incidents such as small fires that can be controlled using a fire extinguisher, a fire blanket or a fire hose reel.
